Eldorado is located on Highway 285 south of Santa Fe. There are almost 6,000
residents and approximately 2500 homes in Eldorado. All lots are at least 1
acre and some are as much as 4 acres. The terrain is a mix of native
grasses, junipers and pinons and the area commands views of several mountain
ranges including The Jemez, The Sandias and The Ortiz.
Eldorado has a
community center with tennis courts, swimming pool, soccer
field and a stable area. There is also 4,000 acres of open space that is
enjoyed by walkers, hikers and cyclists.
