Greater Santa Fe Area, Village of Tesuque

Bishop's Lodge Road rises north of downtown Santa Fe and then descends into the valley of the Little Tesuque creek and the Village of Tesuque. To the east lies the Santa Fe National Forest and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The narrow, winding road takes travelers slowly through a community of large estates, a few businesses and an Elementary School. The horses and split beam fences convey the rural quality of Tesuque. On the north side is a local popular hang-out: Tesuque Village Market.
